BYSA IS AN ORGANIZATION WHICH REQUIRES PARENT/GUARDIAN PARTICIPATION. YOUTH SPORT LEAGUES CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE FROM PARENTS, AND THE BLUEGRASS YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION IS NO EXCEPTION. BYSA REQUIRES THAT PARENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE OPERATION OF THE LEAGUE. THERE ARE MANY JOBS THAT NEED TO BE DONE. SOME REQUIRE VERY LITTLE TIME, OTHERS A SUBSTANTIAL COMMITMENT. PLEASE CONTACT A LEAGUE BOARD MEMBER TO FIND OUT HOW YOU CAN HELP!
BLUEGRASS YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCATION STATEMENT:
The purpose of this Association is to promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship and fellowship by providing fun, recreation, and competition through voluntary participation. This Association will do its best to develop athletic skills and fair play.
BYSA is a volunteer/non-government association that utilizes fields and services provided by the Parks and Recreation Department. KYSA rules and regulations govern play for all soccer participants. The rules and regulations are in compliance with USYSA.

U10 Boys games with KSD cancelled!
All U10 boys games with KSD have been cancelled due to KSD not having enough players for a team. The schedule that is posted on the website has now been revised to reflect this change. Thanks!

Registration ended July 31st.
If you missed getting in by the deadline, registration will re-open for the Spring session in January. Please check back then.
For those who did get registered online, team formation is under way and you should expect to hear from your coach around the middle of August. Thanks!

BYSA Fall 2008 Schedule Announced!
The BYSA Fall Schedule will be as follows:
July 31st - Registration for the Fall 2008 Season Ends!
August 3rd - Central Kentucky Soccer League scheduling meeting at the Frankfort YMCA for U10, U12, U14. Click for directions to the Frankfort YMCA. The age group Coordinators will be working with coaches to make sure all age teams are being represented.
August ? - Meeting with coaches to get the season underway. Date to be announced.
August 18th - Practice fields open for practices.
Sept 2nd (Tuesday) - BYSA games begin.
Oct 6-10 - Fall Break - NO GAMES SCHEDULED!
Oct 25 (Saturday) - BYSA games end.
